Fake Identity & Test Data

Random American Address Generator

Generate a random US address - real city and ZIP pairings, randomized street.

What you can use a fake address for

  • Address form testingCheck that your form accepts a real-shaped address, including non-US layouts.
  • Postcode validationThe postcode always belongs to its city, so it exercises the validator properly.
  • Checkout and shipping flowsWalk a basket through delivery steps without entering a real home address.
  • Demo and staging dataSeed an environment with addresses spread across real cities.
  • Design mockupsA believable address block for an invoice, profile or contact card layout.
  • Sample CSVsGenerate a batch and paste it straight into a spreadsheet column.

This random American address generator returns a US address with the state and ZIP code that genuinely belong to the city. Generate a New York address and you get a 100xx or 112xx ZIP; generate a Denver one and you get 802xx. That is the part most generators get wrong, and it is the part that decides whether a test address passes validation.

Copy the whole address or just one field - street, city, state or ZIP - straight into the form you are testing. Raise the count to pull a batch of American addresses at once.

Fake Address Generator — FAQ

Does the ZIP code match the city?

Yes. Every US city here carries its own real ZIP prefix, so the city, state and ZIP always agree and the address passes normal validation.

Are these real American addresses?

The cities, states and ZIP ranges are real. The street numbers and names are randomized, so the address does not correspond to a real building or resident.

Can I generate several US addresses at once?

Yes - raise the count and copy the whole batch in one tap.

Can I have something delivered to one?

No. These are not deliverable addresses and are for test and mockup use only.

For test data, placeholder and mockup purposes only. The Fake Address Generator produces randomly generated information for developers, testers, designers and writers — filling in test forms, seeding a demo database, populating a design mockup, or naming a character. Every detail is invented: the records describe no real person, and any resemblance to a real individual, household or business is coincidental. Do not use anything generated here to commit identity fraud, to deceive a business or another person, to get around age or identity verification, or for fraudulent billing. Doing so is illegal, and it is not what this tool is for. No social security, national insurance, passport, ID, bank or card numbers are generated here — deliberately. Phone numbers come from ranges permanently reserved for fiction and email addresses use reserved documentation domains, so neither can reach a real person.
