Acceptable Use Policy
Pranksters: Prank & Fake Tools (iPhone and Android) and Pranksters.com
Last updated: October 1, 2026
Pranksters is for harmless fun. This policy says what you can't do with the app or the website. It sits alongside our Terms of Use.
The golden rule: everything you make or run here is fake and for fun. Never present it as real, and never use it to hurt anyone.
You agree not to
Use the app, the website, or anything you make with them to:
- deceive, defraud or mislead anyone, or pass something fake off as real;
- scare or upset someone in a way that could really harm them, for example someone who's unwell, very young or elderly, or driving;
- trick anyone into paying money, handing over a password or personal details, or believing something is really wrong (a fake virus scan is for a laugh, never for a scam);
- bully, harass, threaten, intimidate or defame anyone;
- pretend to be a real person, a business, the police or an emergency service in a way that's deceptive, harmful or unlawful;
- make content that is hateful, that sexualizes minors, or that is otherwise illegal;
- forge documents, evidence, payments or official messages;
- break the law, or the rules of any platform or phone network you use.
Pranks that involve other people
Stop the moment someone is upset. Don't share a video of a prank with people who haven't agreed to it being shared.
Trademarks and platforms
Our tools imitate the look of phone call screens and social media apps, for parody. Don't use them to suggest that a real company made, endorsed or is connected to what you've made.
If you break these rules
On the website, we may remove content and limit your access. In the app, your licence to use it can end under our Terms of Use.
