Random German Address Generator

Generate a random German address - real postal code, correct street-then-number layout.

What you can use a fake address for

  • Address form testingCheck that your form accepts a real-shaped address, including non-US layouts.
  • Postcode validationThe postcode always belongs to its city, so it exercises the validator properly.
  • Checkout and shipping flowsWalk a basket through delivery steps without entering a real home address.
  • Demo and staging dataSeed an environment with addresses spread across real cities.
  • Design mockupsA believable address block for an invoice, profile or contact card layout.
  • Sample CSVsGenerate a batch and paste it straight into a spreadsheet column.

This German address generator writes the address the way Germany actually writes it: the street name first and the house number after it, then the five-digit postal code before the city. A Berlin address gets 10115, a Munich one gets 80331 - the codes belong to the cities they appear with.

Street names come from the ones that genuinely repeat across Germany - Hauptstraße, Bahnhofstraße, Gartenstraße - so the result reads like a real German address rather than a translated American one.

Fake Address Generator — FAQ

Is the German address format correct?

Yes - the street name comes before the house number, and the five-digit postal code comes before the city name, which is the German convention.

Are the postal codes real?

The five-digit codes are real codes for the cities shown with them. The street and house number are randomized.

Which German cities are covered?

Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, Leipzig, Dortmund, Bremen, Dresden and Hannover.

Is it free?

Yes, free and unlimited with no sign-up.

For test data, placeholder and mockup purposes only. The Fake Address Generator produces randomly generated information for developers, testers, designers and writers — filling in test forms, seeding a demo database, populating a design mockup, or naming a character. Every detail is invented: the records describe no real person, and any resemblance to a real individual, household or business is coincidental. Do not use anything generated here to commit identity fraud, to deceive a business or another person, to get around age or identity verification, or for fraudulent billing. Doing so is illegal, and it is not what this tool is for. No social security, national insurance, passport, ID, bank or card numbers are generated here — deliberately. Phone numbers come from ranges permanently reserved for fiction and email addresses use reserved documentation domains, so neither can reach a real person.
