Tip: tap the dice — or press Space — to roll

This free dice roller replaces the dice you always lose down the back of the sofa. Pick how many dice you want and how many sides they have, then tap to roll — every die lands on a genuinely random face and the total is added up for you. It’s perfect for board games, Dungeons & Dragons and other tabletop RPGs, drinking games, or settling any "roll for it" decision.

Need more than a standard six-sided die? Switch to d4, d8, d10, d12 or d20 for role-playing, or roll a fistful of d6 for a board game. Every roll is independent and unbiased, there’s a running history of your recent rolls, and it all happens in your browser — free, no sign-up, nothing stored.

When a die won’t settle it, flip a Coin, spin the Wheel Spinner, or pick a number with the Random Number Generator instead.

Dice Roller — FAQ

Is the dice roller actually random?

Yes — every die lands on a genuinely random face, and each roll is independent of the last, so there’s no bias or pattern. It’s a fair replacement for physical dice.

How many dice can I roll, and what sides?

Roll from one up to six dice at once, and choose the sides: d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 or d20. The tool shows each die and adds up the total for you.

Can I use it for D&D and tabletop games?

Absolutely — the d20 and the other polyhedral dice are built for Dungeons & Dragons and other RPGs, and rolling several d6 at once suits most board games.

Is it free and private?

Completely free with no sign-up. Everything runs in your browser, so nothing about your rolls is uploaded or stored.
