Elf on the Shelf Arrival Letter
Tap for an arrival letter from your elf, with your child's name and the elf's own sign-off.
Hello, friend! Surprise! I made it! The flight from the North Pole was long and snowy, but I found your house right away. Every night I zoom back to the North Pole, and every morning you get to find where I landed. Santa says hi, by the way. Lots of love from the North Pole, Your Elf

The arrival letter sets up the whole season, so it does a bit more work than the daily notes. Each one says hello, explains the rules (the elf reports to Santa every night, lands somewhere new every morning, and must not be touched) and ends on something exciting. Type your child's name and your elf's name above and tap until one sounds right.
What to Put in an Elf Arrival Letter
- A hello with every child's name.
- Where the elf came from and why: Santa sent it to keep an eye on things until Christmas Eve.
- The rules, in a line or two. Do not touch the elf; it flies to the North Pole every night; it lands somewhere new every morning.
- Something to look forward to, so the kids race downstairs tomorrow.
Hello, Mia and Leo!
I have arrived! I packed my tiny suitcase, waved goodbye to the reindeer and flew straight here. Remember the one big rule: you can talk to me as much as you like, but please do not touch me, or my magic might fade. I've already got a few surprises planned. Keep your eyes open!

Dear Mia and Leo,
I'm back! Santa sent me all the way from the North Pole to keep an eye on things until Christmas Eve. Here is how it works: every night I fly to the North Pole to tell Santa about your day, and every morning I land somewhere new. Get ready for some fun. I have lots of ideas!
Your friend,
Jingle

Elf Note Generator — FAQ
What should an elf arrival letter say?
Say hello by name, explain the rules in one or two lines (the elf flies to the North Pole each night and must not be touched), and end with something to look forward to. Keep it short enough to read aloud at breakfast.
When does the elf arrive?
Most families have the elf arrive between Thanksgiving and the first of December, so the visit runs up to Christmas Eve. Pick the morning that suits your family.
How do I announce my elf's arrival?
Let the elf announce itself: prop the arrival letter next to it somewhere the kids will spot at breakfast. Some families add a box "delivered from the North Pole" or a plate of snack-sized treats so the first morning feels like an event.
What if the elf arrives late this year?
Blame the North Pole: a snowstorm, reindeer traffic, or a long night helping Santa with the list. Add a line about it to the top of the arrival letter and nobody will mind.
Can I use these for a welcome back letter?
Yes. Many of the arrival letters open with "I'm back!" so they work for an elf returning for another year. Tap until you get one that fits.
