The newbies would be given a student to teach: a nerdy girl who drives terribly. Except she does not. According to our original write-up, she is a Malaysian touring car champion.
The reveal is the whole prank
The setup relies on a stereotype. The student looks nervous, wears glasses and apparently cannot drive. The instructors relax and start giving the sort of advice you give to a beginner.
