YouTube filmmaker Coby Persin has spent a good portion of the past year dedicated to illustrating just how hazardous the internet can be. Sure, it’s a wonderful thing 99% of the time, but things like social media can be dangerous.
But our children, while safe most of the time, are exposed to dangers elsewhere too. Child predators operate online, but they also operate offline. And just think, you wouldn’t let your children go and knock on the door of a stranger, would you? Who knows who may answer the door? So what’s the difference at Halloween?
It may seem silly, but Trick ‘r Treating sees kids of all ages wandering up to the houses of people you don’t know, putting them, potentially, at risk. Coby’s been on the case and set up an experiment to demonstrate what we mean:
