Anyone who has ever been on the London Underground will tell you that it’s a quite unique experience. It’s very crowded and busy, but – as you’d expect in Britain – terribly polite. No one speaks, no one shouts, everyone just sits or stands quietly. Trains are frequently late and conditions and service are not that great. This has inspired some cheeky English pranksters to create a series of very funny fake signs, in the style of real ones, and stick them up in the carriages… and here they are:
1.) Apologies.
2.) Harsh.
3.) Sounds tastier than the real thing, Shepherd’s Bush.
4.) Cosy.
5.) This one is very London.
6.) We all recognise this as a part of our lives now, don’t we?
7.) The Tube really can be a nightmare at times…
