Pranksters Convince Burger King Employees To Smash Their OWN Store Windows!
Coon Rapids, Minnesota. A fast food restaurant fell victim to a shocking new prank that’s as evil as it is destructive. Pranksters managed to convince workers there that they were working with the local fire department and that the Burger King the employees worked for was experiencing a gas leak. The only way to stay safe and sort things out? to SMASH all of their windows and allow the gas to escape!
Now, obviously we wouldn’t approve of such wanton destruction and you’ve got to imagine that this cost a lot of money and got a fair few people in trouble.
Seems a one-off, right? Well, not quite. Other fast food places have fallen victim to the prank across the country. This was the FOURTH reported incident, in fact.
Coon Rapids police sergeant Rick Boone told a local newspaper this: “Officers arrived and found that the manager and employees of the Burger King were smashing out the windows. The manager explained they’d received a phone call from a male who identified himself as a fireman who said there were dangerous levels of gas in the building and they had to break out all the windows to keep the building from blowing up. The manager was frantic and actually believed the building was going to blow.”
This is insane. See what happened:
